The Zocalo Project

Zocalo is the integration of several software components related to planning. Web services are used to construct plans and supporting artifacts. Extensions to game engines and operating system graphical user interfaces allow these plans to be executed in diverse environments. The plans may stand on their own or user interactions may be integrated into the plan during its execution.

Zocalo has been used in interactive narrative research to drive educational virtual environments. Work is underway to use Zocalo's functionality to provide assistance in cross-application GUI tasks. Its open architecture allows Zocalo to be extended and reused in various contexts.
